This policy explains what you pay to join a Gradopus Labs program, how payment works, when money is returned, and the position on stipends.
On this page
1. Purpose and scope
This policy applies to every payment made to Gradopus Labs for a program, and to any stipend Gradopus Labs may offer in future. It is read together with the Student Terms & Conditions and the Internship Policy.
Gradopus Labs is an India-based brand offering project-based software development internships and technology learning. It is not a university, college, government body or accredited institution, and it is not incorporated as a company.
2. Summary
- You pay an enrolment fee to join a program. The amount is shown on the program's page before you enrol.
- The enrolment fee is the only charge. There is no application fee, registration fee, assessment fee or certificate fee.
- Paying the fee gives you access to the program. It does not guarantee that your work will be accepted, that you will complete the program, or that you will receive a certificate, a job or a placement.
- Enrolment fees are not refundable, except in the cases listed in section 8, such as duplicate payments or a program cancelled by Gradopus Labs.
- Gradopus Labs does not currently pay stipends.
3. Payment terms are program-specific
Each program has its own fee, shown on its page. Programs can differ in price, duration and content. Do not assume that one program's fee or terms apply to another.
Gradopus Labs may waive the fee for some students, for example through a scholarship. Waivers are given in writing and do not change the program's requirements. To be confirmed: whether fee waivers or scholarships will be offered, and how
4. How fees are disclosed
Before you pay, you will see:
- on the program page: the program fee, duration, weekly time commitment, what is included, the learning outcomes and the completion requirements;
- on the checkout page: the program, the amount payable, and links to this policy and the Student Terms & Conditions.
The amount charged is always the program fee stored by Gradopus Labs at the time you pay. You cannot be charged a different amount at checkout, and no fee, tax or charge will be added that was not shown to you before you paid.
To be confirmed: the fee for each program, and whether prices include GST
We will not use false urgency, such as fake countdowns or invented "limited seats", to pressure you into paying.
5. What is charged and what is not
- Applying or registering an account: free.
- Joining a program: the program's enrolment fee.
- Assessment and reviews: included in the enrolment fee; no extra charge.
- Resubmissions within the attempt limit: included; no extra charge.
- Certificate of Completion: free. There is no fee to issue, download, verify or correct a certificate.
- Other charges: none.
If Gradopus Labs ever introduces any other charge, it will apply only to students who agree to it in writing before they enrol. It will never be a condition of receiving a certificate for a program you have already joined.
6. Stipends
Gradopus Labs does not currently pay stipends for any program.
If a stipend is offered for a program in future, the internship details will state in writing, before you accept a place:
- the stipend amount or how it is calculated;
- who is eligible and any documented conditions;
- how often and on what dates it will be paid, and how;
- any deductions, which will be made only where the law allows or requires them;
- what to do if a payment is late or disputed;
- whether a separate written agreement is needed.
A stipend will never be used to avoid obligations that apply under labour law.
7. Payment methods and receipts
- Online payments are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment provider. You can pay using the methods Razorpay's checkout offers, such as UPI, cards, net banking or wallets. To be confirmed: Razorpay live account approval; online payment is not available until it is approved
- You enter your payment details directly into Razorpay's checkout. Gradopus Labs does not receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI ID or bank details.
- Gradopus Labs will never ask for your UPI PIN, card PIN, OTP, net-banking password or any other payment credential, by phone, email, chat or any other way. If anyone asks for these claiming to be from Gradopus Labs, do not share them, and report it to us.
- Only pay through the official checkout on the Gradopus Labs website. We do not ask students to pay by personal bank transfer or to a personal UPI ID.
- After a successful payment you receive:
- access to the program as soon as the payment is confirmed;
- a record in the Payments section of your student dashboard;
- a payment confirmation email, if email is set up, showing the program, amount, payment reference and date.
The payment confirmation is not a tax invoice. To be confirmed: whether tax invoices will be issued, see section 14
8. Refunds
Enrolment fees are not refundable, including if you withdraw, do not complete the program, or are not satisfied with your own results, except in the following cases, where your money will be returned:
- Duplicate payment: you were charged more than once for the same enrolment.
- Failed payment that was debited: money left your account but the payment did not complete and you did not receive access. Banks and Razorpay often reverse these automatically.
- Program unavailable: your payment was confirmed but the program had already been withdrawn, so you did not receive access.
- Program cancelled by Gradopus Labs: we cancel a program you paid for before you complete it (section 10).
- Significant change by Gradopus Labs: we make a significant change to a program you paid for that materially reduces what you were promised, and you choose to withdraw (section 10).
- Any other case where the law requires a refund.
Nothing in this policy limits any right to a refund or remedy that you have under applicable law.
How to request a refund: email support.gradopuslabs@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with:
- your name;
- the program;
- the payment date and the payment reference (shown in your dashboard and the confirmation email);
- the reason for your request.
Refunds are paid to the original payment method. We will tell you in writing whether your request is accepted and why.
9. Cancellation and withdrawal by you
- You can withdraw from a program at any time by telling us in writing (see the Internship Policy, section 17).
- Withdrawing does not lead to a refund, except in the cases in section 8.
- After withdrawing, your completed reviews stay on your record, and a certificate is issued only if you met all of the completion requirements before you withdrew.
10. Program cancellation or significant changes by Gradopus Labs
- If we cancel a program you have paid for before you complete it, we will tell you as early as possible and refund your enrolment fee in full. To be confirmed: whether a partial refund applies if most of the program has already been delivered
- If we make a significant change that materially reduces what was promised, such as removing major parts of the program or substantially changing its duration, we will tell you before the change takes effect. You may then continue, or withdraw and receive a refund.
- Minor changes that keep the program's learning outcomes, such as updating a task or correcting materials, are not significant changes.
- If a program ends early for reasons outside your control, you will not lose a certificate you have already earned.
11. Refund processing times
- We aim to respond to refund requests within To be confirmed: response time.
- Approved refunds are started within To be confirmed: processing time.
- After a refund is started, banks and Razorpay may take additional time before it appears in your account.
Refunds are currently made by our team through Razorpay. They are not yet shown automatically in your dashboard; we will confirm each refund to you by email.
12. Disputed and duplicate payments
- The website is designed to prevent duplicate orders: while one payment for a program is in progress, starting checkout again resumes the same order.
- If you think you were charged twice, or charged the wrong amount, contact us with the payment references before raising a dispute with your bank, so we can resolve it quickly. You keep any right you have to raise a dispute with your bank or payment provider.
- If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute, we will work with you and Razorpay to resolve it. To be confirmed: whether program access is paused while a chargeback is open We will not revoke a certificate you have already earned because of a payment dispute.
13. Failed or delayed payments
- If a payment fails, you are not enrolled and you can try again.
- Some payments, especially UPI, can take time to confirm. Until Razorpay confirms the payment to our website, your enrolment is shown as awaiting confirmation. You can check the status on the checkout page.
- Access is given only after the payment is confirmed by Razorpay to our server. A success message in your banking app alone does not activate enrolment.
- If money has left your account but your enrolment is not confirmed after To be confirmed: time, contact us with the payment reference.
14. Taxes and invoices
To be confirmed: whether Gradopus Labs is registered for GST, whether program fees include GST, and whether and how tax invoices will be issued. To be decided with a qualified accountant before live payments start.
Until this is confirmed, no tax is calculated or shown on the website, and payment confirmations are not tax invoices.
15. Financial grievances and contact
For any question or complaint about a payment, refund or charge:
- Email support.gradopuslabs@gmail.com with your payment reference.
- We will acknowledge and respond in writing. To be confirmed: response time
- If you are not satisfied, you can raise a grievance under the Student Terms & Conditions.
This does not affect any right you have to approach a consumer forum, your bank or any other authority available to you under law.
16. Relationship to other policies
- The Student Terms & Conditions set the general rules, including fees (section 16).
- The Internship Policy explains withdrawal and what happens to your work (section 17).
- The Certificate Issuance & Verification Policy confirms that certificates are free and explains the effect of a refund on certificate eligibility.
- The Privacy Policy explains what payment data is processed and shared with Razorpay.
If this policy and another Gradopus Labs policy seem to differ on a payment matter, this policy applies, unless the other gives you more protection.
17. Policy changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always published with its version number and effective date. A change to fees or refunds does not affect a payment you have already made, which is governed by the version in effect when you paid.
